This release comes from Santiago Sochiltepec - a town in the Sierra Madre mountain range that separates Oaxaca’s Central Valley from the Pacific Coast. The area is called Sierra Sur, and is the heart of Mexico’s famous La Pluma region (home to the Typica varietal of the same name). The land is cooled by pine forests, evening fog and morning dew – making it the perfect climate for exceptional coffee. It is rare to source from a single producer in this region, and rarer for that producer to female. We're proud to have Irene's coffee return to our lineup.
