From those Chen & Kai guys... A planter inspired by the designs of high voltage ceramic insulators found on power lines. Porcelain, glazed interior, unglazed exterior. The bottom ring functions as the saucer.

One of the first designers carried in our space in 2013, and a former Greenpoint neighbor, Chen Chen & Kai Williams is a studio that explores materials and new ways to use them. The studio invents new techniques and materials or diverts common industrial supplies to off-label applications. Basically, they make amazing stuff.
